Being a teenager can be hard... but that doesn't mean it has to be all of the time. Whatever it may be, I'm here to help you through it.
My counselling approach is eclectic, as I am guided by your needs and who you are. Fundamentally I take a person-centred approach and draw on a variety of approaches that best suit the individual or couples needs. I use approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative and Gestalt Therapies. I focus on practical strategies to bring about emotional regulation through the use of approaches that are the best fit for the individual or couple that is taking the great step toward bettering themselves.
I am an experienced counsellor and educator, specialising in work with children and adolescents in the areas of emotional self-regulation, anxiety management and relationships. With an extensive background in the educational sector within the UK overseas and NZ, I am aware of the importance of and impact that learning and schooling have on our young people's mental health and wellbeing.
