The Therapy Package.
The CBT Programme for Anxiety.

The therapy package is a block booking of 5 sessions with additional support designed to focus on selected counselling goals using a therapy notebook. The specific therapy notebook that I use in the sessions has been selected as they are a very effective and accessible, easy-to-use resource for clients. I researched long and hard to find the right workbook and the Therapy Notebook,  imported from the US, has been devised by clinical psychologists, who have hand-selected the most important research findings and mental health tools and put them all in one place. 

My clients have found these to be a really helpful part of the counselling sessions and have not found it difficult to commit to using it as part of their process. 

 

This notebooks allows you to mindfully prepare for each session with access to grounding techniques and guided prompts to reflect on how you are doing before your therapy session begins.

This programme requires a full commitment to all sessions and the check-ins (10-15mins) between sessions. 

 

The sessions utilise the Therapy journal (included in the cost). The journal is effectively a thought log-book that works by:

Setting intentions

A space for reflecting upon sessions

A place to process stressful moments with the help of structured journal entries 

Preparation before therapy sessions

CBT is the best-researched and most effective form of treatment for anxiety. It builds awareness of the relationship between your thoughts and your feelings, empowering you to challenge and adjust them over time. 

 

The use of CBT in managing Anxiety has been rigorously tested and is a widely used treatment. 

By engaging in this programme you will learn to develop skills to identify, challenge and change unhelpful thought patterns.

The programme will (CBT) help you to reframe your thoughts into something much more manageable, accelerating your ability to identify patterns and proactively address issues as they come along.
